Founded in 2012 by pastry chef, Jennifer Satinsky, Weckerly’s Ice Cream operates a full micro-creamery in Philadelphia’s Frankford neighborhood and serves daily at their scoop shop in Fishtown. Using organic milk from grass-fed cows at Camphill Village Kimberton Hills and cream from Seven Stars Farm, Jen, and her team produces French-style ice cream that is truly made from scratch. Each flavor begins with raw ingredients, often sourced directly from local farms. The goal with every batch is to produce flavors that excite and comfort as a true reflection of the amazing ingredients. Mixes, bases, stabilizer gums, flavor extracts, and syrups are never used.
