Peter Demchur started Shellbark Hollow Farm over 15 years ago with just two goats he received as a Fathers Day gift. As his herd grew, so did his hobby of cheese making, leading to the birth of Shellbark Hollow Farm and its award winning goat products.

The fifteen acre farm sits in Honey Brook, Chester County, PA. Cheese maker, Pete Demchur operates this family-run business making hand made cheeses onsite. Our herd of purebred Nubian goats produce a high quality, rich, butterfat milk that cheese lovers crave. Fresh products are ready to be enjoyed within days of milking.

We offer a variety of goat milk products including Chèvre, yogurt, kefir, ricotta, 10 flavored cheese spreads, marinated Chèvre jars, mold ripened crottin, Honey and Tomato Nest Biscuits and raw goat milk.

Recognized as one of Chester County’s oldest established artisan goat dairies, Shellbark Hollow Farm provides award winning products to many chefs, retail establishments, and fine restaurants throughout the tri-state area. We also sell our products at Phoenixville, Bryn Mawr, Rittenhouse, and Head House farmers’ markets. Shellbark Hollow Farm is a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture, the Chester County Cheese Artisans, and the Pennsylvania Cheese Guild.
