Pennsylvania Farm Vacation Association is a state-wide organization, established in 1963 to promote agritourism and provide farm vacations. Our officers/members speak about agri tourism at conferences across the nation and around the world. The member farms are working farms in diverse agricultural enterprises. As family farms disappear from our landscape, city folks are becoming increasingly more interested in learning about the culture and tradition of the agrarian lifestyle. PFVA farm members invite guests to experience life on a farm, attend clinics on homesteading skills, ask questions, understand how farmers use practices like sustainable agriculture, conservation, organics and alternatives, heirloom seeds, ancient grains, heritage breeds, pollinators to be pro active stewards of the land for now and the future.
