As the owner of a cafe called Caffe Craze in Malvern, PA, I was compelled by my Seattle, Washington roots and health conscious philosophy to create an all-natural chai concentrate. I practiced various brewing methods and ingredient combinations with the guiding principle of using whole ingredients and nothing artificial. Soon we began serving chai latte made with our micro-brewed concentrate and selling it to nearby coffee houses and restaurants. In response to requests from chai-loving customers, additional flavors; Green – less sweet, Masala – spicy, plus Decaffeinated (a decaf version of our Original – vanilla) were added.
